Speciality Feature Paints
Using specialty paints is a great way to add additional colour and a unique decorating statement.
There are a number of different specialty paints including
Metallic - this is an interior paint that reflects the light and creates the appearance of brushed, precious metals
Pearl - this has a beautiful pearly, satin gleam and is available in a gorgeous palate of whites and neutrals
Stone - this is an interior/exterior effect paint provides a textured render like matt finish
Suede - this is an interior paint that echoes the look of suede.
Chalkboard - Get creative and transform any surface into a chalkboard, Perfect for cafes, kitchens, workplaces and children’s play areas.
French Wash - This creates the look of delicate broken colour – a subtle marble-like finish which was discovered centuries ago by European masters.
Liquid Metals - available in gold, silver, tin, zinc, stainless steel, copper and iron - these create a slick and chic feeling of opulence and sophistication in your home. Copper also can be applied with a green patina causing an oxidation effect to create your own authentic aged copper look. Instant rust can also be used with the iron to create and instantly aged and weatherbeaten, rustic iron finish
Using an experienced qualified painter & decorator to apply these paints is recommended as these products are more expensive and have more specific application techniques to ensure you get that perfect finish.
